Campaign Console — our internal Google Ads management tool

Campaign Console is the in-house application our team uses to report on, review, and safely update the client accounts linked to Lamtena Ads manager account 688-384-0493. It is built for our own operators only. It is not sold, licensed, resold, or made available to advertisers or to the general public.

Why we need Google Ads API access

We manage multiple client accounts across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Doing the work below by hand in the Google Ads web interface, account by account, is slow and error-prone. The API lets one operator do it consistently and with a review step before anything changes.

📊

Consolidated reporting

Pull cost, clicks, conversions, CPA, and ROAS for every managed account into one weekly view, instead of exporting each account separately.

🧹

Wasted-spend control

Read search-terms reports across accounts, identify irrelevant queries, and apply negative keywords in bulk rather than one at a time.

⚙️

Safer bulk changes

Budget, bid, and status changes are prepared as a preview first, checked by an operator, and only then submitted to the API.

🔔

Account health checks

Flag disapproved ads, conversion-tracking breakages, and campaigns that drift outside their agreed budget so we catch them the same day.

Which parts of the Google Ads API we use

Campaign Console uses the standard Google Ads API. The table below lists what we read and what we change.

AreaOperationsPurpose
Reporting GoogleAdsService.SearchStream Read campaign, ad group, keyword, search-term, geo, and device performance for weekly client reports.
Account structure CustomerService, CampaignService, AdGroupService List accounts under our manager account and read campaign and ad group structure.
Keywords AdGroupCriterionService, CampaignCriterionService Add and remove keywords and negative keywords; adjust bids on existing keywords.
Budgets & bidding CampaignBudgetService, CampaignService Update daily budgets and bidding strategy targets in line with the plan agreed with the client.
Ads & assets AdGroupAdService, AssetService Create and pause responsive search ads and manage sitelink, callout, and snippet assets.
Conversion tracking ConversionActionService Verify that conversion actions exist and are recording, so reporting is trustworthy.

Scope of use. The tool only ever touches accounts that are linked to our manager account 688-384-0493 with the client's consent. It does not connect to third-party advertiser accounts, and it does not access any account we have not been given management rights to.

How data is handled

Who can use the tool

Access is limited to Lamtena Ads operators. There is no public sign-up, no client login, and no third-party access. Clients receive their reports as documents from us; they do not log in to the tool.

Where it runs

Campaign Console runs on our own operator workstations. It authenticates to Google with OAuth 2.0 using our own credentials, and the resulting token is stored locally on that machine only.

What is retained

Performance data is requested from the Google Ads API when an operator runs a report and is used to produce that report. We keep the generated client reports for our own record-keeping and for period-over-period comparison. We do not build an external database of Google Ads data, we do not share it with any third party, and we do not use it for any purpose other than managing the account it came from.

Change safety

Write operations are never triggered automatically. Each proposed change is rendered as a preview, reviewed by an operator, and only then submitted. Budget changes are additionally capped so a single mistaken action cannot materially overspend a client's account.
